Clubhouse

The IARC Clubhouse is located just North of the Elk City State Park in Independence.  The Clubhouse is owned by MyTown Media (MTM).  MTM has graciously allowed us to use the facility for our purposes.  MTM also allows the use of their commercial transmission tower for our amateur repeater use.  The IARC is deeply grateful to MTM for their support of our organization.

For those not familiar with the area, we would like to provide you with directions to our clubhouse, starting from Highway 75 (also called "Pennsylvania Avenue" in Independence).  From the intersection of Highway 75/Pennsylvania Ave. and Taylor Rd., turn West onto Taylor Rd.  Continue on Taylor Rd. until you come to a "T" at Peter Pan Rd.  You will turn right (North) onto Peter Pan Rd. and drive a short distance to County Road 4800.  Turn left (West) onto County Road 4800.  After a couple of 90-degree turns, you will pass the entrance to Elk City State Park on your left.  After you pass the State Park entrance, you will continue approximately 1/3 mile up the winding roadway (Northwest) until you reach the driveway to the clubhouse.  The entrance to the clubhouse is easy to miss, so look for the old black mailbox and cattle gate.  Turn into the driveway (on your right-hand side) and continue into the clubhouse property.

If you need assistance, you can request "Talk-In" assistance using our primary VHF repeater 145.490 Pl 91.5
